Thomas The Tank Engine Cupcakes

Overview

Green's Thomas & Friends Cupcakes and a fun and educational way for kids to learn basic cooking and numerical skills. Designed to be lots of fun, the Green's Thomas & Friends cake is a great activity fun mum, dad and kids!

The mix makes 12 yummy kid-sized chocolate cupcakes, with chocolate icing and special edible pictures of Thomas and his friends!

Also available are Green's Teletubbies Cupcakes, Pokemon Muffin Mix, and even Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream Cupcakes that you can make at home!

Make-up Directions

How to make Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends Cupcakes:
1. Preheat gas or electric oven to 180°C (350°F). Place 12 patty cases into a patty tray.
2. Place contents of cake mix sachet, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons (40mL) water and 2 ½ tablespoons (50mL) polyunsaturated vegetable oil into a small mixing bowl.
3. Using an electric mixer, mix on low speed until all ingredients are moistened. Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes. Scrape down sides of bowl occasionally.
4. Divide batter evenly between the 12 patty cases. (Approx. 1 level tablespoon of batter for each cupcake).
5. Bake for 15 - 18 minutes or until firm to touch. Carefully remove cupcakes from oven and place onto cake cooler. Allow to cool for approximately 45 minutes before icing.

How to Make Icing
1. In a small mixing bowl, place contents of icing sachet, 3 teaspoons (15g) margarine or soft butter and 3 teaspoons (15mL) milk.
2. Using a wooden spoon, mix to a thick but spreadable consistency.
3. Using a teaspoon, spread icing over centre of each cold cupcake. Immediately after icing, place an edible picture in the centre of the icing.
